8vo, 4 p., small engraved mirrored floral title device. Recent puce crushed morocco (endcaps lightly rubbed), small paper shelf mark label to title and further pencil shelf mark.

This spirited narrative from the collection of Giancarlo Beltrame gives what is presumably an eyewitness account of the assault of a hurricane on Venice and its islands and the ensuing destruction in 1819. A good copy (title page a little soiled along fold lines; lacks upper blank tip; light spotting). Not in worldcat; ICCU locates a sole copy at the Marciana.
